I'm a novelist, poet, and artist. I love books, nature, art, and gardening. I'm a rock hound and there's a photo of me with a cool fossil rock on my about page, I take a lot of nature pictures. The background here is one of mine. Unfortunately I recently lost my wonderful husband, but I'm grateful to have the blessing of two beautiful sons. elizabethmeltonparsons.wordpress.com is © Elizabeth Melton Parsons 2007-2018. 5. I like when creative people are all so different and unique, yet part of a family. My brother, daughter, Dad, Mom and I loved to paint and draw. Dad is gone to the place he is most happy with (we believe he rearranges the stars from time to time) and my Mom doesn’t use art anymore, but likes to continue looking at art. Your Eric did a great vision of a rose, one where I could imagine it being as a pendant or on a table for a decoration. (I am taking it out of its frame and using it in a three dimensional sense.) You will think I am corny but I felt the blue part of the rose reminded me of that song, “Red Roses for a Blue Lady.” (Showing my age, ha ha!)

  6. Thank you, Robin, for such a delightful comment.. I know that song too! Guess we are both showing our age. Although you are just a child compared to me. 😀 xo
