Remember Me

Remember me_

not as a date or time,

but as a person.

Remember me_

I was weakI was strong.

I was afraidI was brave.

Remember me_

I had wantsI had desires.

I had needsI had goals.

Remember me_

not as an event in history,

but as an individual.

Remember me_

I lived I loved,

I laughedI danced.

Remember me_

I'm a novelist, poet, and artist. I love books, nature, art, and gardening. I'm a rock hound and there's a photo of me with a cool fossil rock on my about page, I take a lot of nature pictures. The background here is one of mine. Unfortunately I recently lost my wonderful husband, but I'm grateful to have the blessing of two beautiful sons. elizabethmeltonparsons.wordpress.com is © Elizabeth Melton Parsons 2007-2017. 6. Dear Elizabeth:
What a beautiful poem for a cherished person.
Claudette lives on in those who love her: in their hearts, their memories, and in all the ways she affected and changed your lives.

I wish comfort and strength to you and your family and all who love Claudette.

  20. RIP… you did touch my heart, as I have a very good American friend of Canadian French roots whose name is Claudette… courage, strength and remember that all our loved ones who have left – slowly or suddenly, continue to live in our hearts… ❤
