I often visit a blog that has some of the most fantastic graffiti art http://graffitiluxandmurals.com/ and recently a piece she posted reminded me of some I’d seen in Bloomington when visiting Eric. I asked Eric to send me some snapshots of any street art he came across. He did and it’s so fantastic, I had to share with all of you art lovers. Since there are so many photos, I listed them as thumbnails, but you can click them for larger views. Enjoy and Merry Christmas! ❤ Photos copyright-Eric Melton
Yes, the street art that you have posted, Elizabeth, are quite an interesting variety. It gives the artists an opportunity to express themselves. Thank you for sharing. Wishing you a very blessed Christmas. 🙂 Regards, Iris.
Fabulous post, Elizabeth!
First: Thank you for mentioning my blog with a link!!!!
Second: I love the art! Of course I have faves, but I will limit myself to 3. 1. the “Madonna with Roses” on the power box. 2. The “Woman in White” on another power box. 3. The mural with Elvis and all the fab costumes.
I read your copyright policy. As reblog is a share button of sorts, I think reblogging this post would be okay. However, I want to make sure, as I respect everyone’s policies.
Would love to reblog this during the week.
Take care and thanks again for this wonderful post!! _Resa
It amazes me how people have the talent for this, I draw the line (geddit?) at stick men. I like this type of graffiti, it is pleasing to the eye and creative, it beats this modern art in the galleries that critics seem to rave about.

Thank you, Elizabeth!
I see you noted GLaM in your “Street Art” post
Eric’s shots are wonderful, and I am so thrilled to see street art from Bloomington, Indiana.
I love the art, the pics and the thoughtfulness!
I remember when any graffiti was immediately painted over by city officials. So nice that now they are left to be appreciated. Merry Christmas, Jane, and thank for your lovely comment. 🙂

Thanks, Jill. I’m always amazed by the talent of these street artists. I can barely spray paint a table without making a mess. 🙂
