Cynthia, if you still want to know the story of when I was shot at for stealing a watermelon, download Lizzie and the Boy’s Club. It’s in the last chapter. 🙂

NO EXIT

Winter of the Heart

Black Rock-A Time for Love

Author: Elizabeth Melton Parsons

I'm a novelist, poet, and artist. I love books, nature, art, and gardening. I'm a rock hound and there's a photo of me with a cool fossil rock on my about page, I take a lot of nature pictures. The background here is one of mine. Unfortunately I recently lost my wonderful husband, but I'm grateful to have the blessing of two beautiful sons. elizabethmeltonparsons.wordpress.com is © Elizabeth Melton Parsons 2007-2018. • I just love all you guys so much. 😀 Besides I’ve been in the most foul mood the past week, so decided to do something nice instead of kicking my trees. They hate that. 😉 Thanks, Jill, and I hope you enjoy some of my writings. Have a great Wednesday.

      • Don’t hurt your trees, Elizabeth! 🙂 I’m thinking of reading “No Exit” first…is that a good call? They all sound good. 🙂

        • I once had two ladies drive over a thousand miles to a book signing of mine for NO EXIT. They already owned the books. One said it was the best book she’d ever read and she just had to meet the author. The other said it was way too graphic for her taste and scared the crap out of her. She hated it. She came to meet me because she loved my poetry book and wanted me to sign it. LOL. So there you go. I always warn my readers that NO EXIT has graphic scenes of rape and violence. If I were you I’d download them all and try them out. I certainly wouldn’t want to offend you. 🙂

    • Well, hello there, Mr. Know All. It’s so good to hear from you. I hope you’re well. As for Kindle, you don’t have to buy one. You can go to Amazon and on every book page there is a link to download Kindle for PC and it’s free. That way you have Kindle right on your computer. I’ve had that for years and used it all the time before I got my Kindle Fire tablet. It always worked great for me. Read many a great book on it. 🙂

  8. Oh, Elizabeth, I am going to seek out your novels! I am thrilled that I “know” you on WordPress. I do not have a Kindle, though. So I will find them elsewhere. Thanks for telling us though!

    • Thanks, Hollis. I didn’t have a Kindle until just recently so I used the free Kindle reading app for my pc. Loved it. You might want to check it out. There are always lots of free and reduced price Kindle books available. Free books are great because if you don’t love them, you’ve only invested a little time. 🙂

      • You are right. There are some books I have started to read, (you will shutter at this one), where if I think it is abusive, trashy or evil or just bad, I actually throw it in the trash. Not recycling. Trash. So Kindle is probably the way for me.I will check it out. Thank you!!!!! We have lots and lots of books here. I love real books though.

        • Lovin’ those real books…yes ma’am! Love everything about them, the feel, the scent, the way the pages sound when turning them. 😀 But I would never trash a book. Give it away or donate it, yes. I’ve never had the heart to toss one in the trash. I figure trash to me is treasure to someone else. You are much braver at heart than I. 🙂
