I'm a novelist, poet, and artist. I love books, nature, art, and gardening. I'm a rock hound and there's a photo of me with a cool fossil rock on my about page, I take a lot of nature pictures. The background here is one of mine. Unfortunately I recently lost my wonderful husband, but I'm grateful to have the blessing of two beautiful sons. elizabethmeltonparsons.wordpress.com is © Elizabeth Melton Parsons 2007-2018. 1. These are wonderful! The vibrant colors of the tree painting are just wonderful. And, of course your mermaid, she is stunning.

  3. This is gorgeous, Elizabeth! I love this so much. 🙂

  4. Elizabeth,
Beautiful, particularly the beach path leading up to the sky and clouds (heaven?) I think it would be a neat book cover. 🙂

  5. Wow! When I commented before I only saw the first one. I love all the rest, too.

  6. E.G. Parsons aka Aunt Gail. I love your talent. Your gifts show in everything you do. These paintings are beautiful, as are YOU! Thank you for sharing.

  7. Gosh, Elizabeth: you’ve got talent. congratulations. Keep on painting!

  8. What a wonderful painting! Thanks for sharing Elizabeth. 🙂

  9. Lovely paintings Elizabeth. I noticed, as I do, that the sweater was too tight for the mermaid to wear. Love & hugs. Ralph xox ❤

  10. Okay, is there anything you can’t do, Elizabeth? 🙂 Beautiful paintings with such vibrant colors…bravo!

  11. Love the luminosity in these works, the bold use of colours and the sense of place. Yes!

  12. What a pleasing mix, Elizabeth. Do you have a favourite? 🙂

    • Hi, Jo. Nope, no favorite out of these. They’re all practice discards. As in stuffed in the attic. Except for the colorful abstract oil next to the last. It was sold. I always like to share the bad as well as the good. But I do like the acrylic woodland path and the pink watercolor made with salt. That was fun to do. 😀

  13. Lovely paintings – I like your creativity and especially the seascape with the footbridge taking you right up into the sky.
