Snapped these last night in the rain just as it was getting dark. I was curious to see how to the lack of light would effect the shots since I use a cheap camera with no special lighting. They’re actually better than I imagined they’d be. As usual you can click images for larger size.
Humm. Maybe the salt air. Mine are doing okay, but not as well as I’d like. Something keeps eating the leaves off the smaller variety. And they say nothing will eat marigolds. Not true. LOL. Thanks for taking time to comment, my dear. ((hugs)) 🙂
Hey Liza….I have had something nibbling at the leaves too…but think the salt air is definitely not agreeing with them. Decided to give it another shot, will see how this one fairs 🙂 Always appreciate your feedback!
Keeping my fingers crossed for success this time. Of course, I’ll have to uncross them when I type otherwise I’m not sure how that would work. LOL. Hugs.
Thank you so much for your posts. I enjoy reading them so much. Always inspiring or insightful and beautiful artwork. I am so pleased to be following you
Thank you for such a kind comment, Morgan. That’s the nicest compliment I’ve had in a long time. And coming from such a gifted person as yourself, it means so much. You made my day! 🙂

The title of this post gives off a very sentimental feeling which I quite like. With age I begin to realize the beauty in flowers.
