Not Seeing Site Updates Using Firefox

Do you use Firefox to visit your favorite sites? Are you missing updates? I’ve been building a new website and I like to use different browsers when previewing the site to see if the look varies much. One thing I’ve noticed is that once I’ve brought the site up using Firefox, it opens the site exactly the same every time. Since this is a new site, I’m still tweaking it. I reduced the size of the template table so visitors with smaller screens won’t have scroll across to read. I changed some of the text and a few cell colors and backgrounds. All these changes were clearly visible with Explorer, but in order to see the changes in Firefox, I had to delete the cache and browsing history. And I have to do that every time I preview. This got me to wondering if all the sites I visit using Firefox are like that. Have I been missing updates on the sites I visit often? Will I have to delete the cache and history every time I visit a site more than once? On my older computers I could force the browser to load the site from the server by holding down the ctrl key and clicking enter, which always gave me a fresh, updated page. This didn’t work with Firefox on my new computer. I know I have to be missing something. Anyone have any ideas how to get around this without constantly deleting cache and history? Is there a setting in Firefox I’m overlooking?
