Bluebirds Abandon Nest

It’s a sad affair, but it seems our bluebird couple have abandoned their nest. The three little eggs are still there and have not been disturbed by any kind of predator. The only thing I can think of that would have caused them to abandon their eggs would be the heat. Since I last saw them around the nesting box over a week ago, we’ve had daily heat indices from 115 to 120. Maybe it was just too much for them. Of course something could have happened to them. I hope not and once I clear the box out, I hope they come back.
