Stalking through the dark of night_
Gnashing teeth and claw like talons.
Hungry lips curled back in want_
Seeking that which he’ll devour.
Slipping in and out of shadow_
Hunger growing ever stronger.
Frantic now, in ravenous need_
He scents the air for his prey.
Innocence walking down the path_
Never knowing of the danger.
With speed and skill he lunges forth_
Ripping, tearing at the flesh.
Dripping blood from teeth and jowl_
Feeding on the end of life.
